Bad Romance - Lady Gaga
This monstrous video accompanies her newly reissued debut album called The Fame Monster (November 24). For certain, some conceptual get-ups seen live at various shows are [...]
Glenn Close talks Alex Forrest and mental illness
From the Huffington Post:Alex Forrest is considered by most people to be evil incarnate. People still come up to me saying how much she terrified them. Yet in my research into her behavior, I only ended up empathizing with her. She was a human being in great psychological [...]

[cue untranscribable nasal-clearing rumble] And you don't want to try a Teddy Grahams Honey Mini pak? Hmm?
Who are these Moneypenny broads? I was just thinking the other day how in America "djs" are always a sort of conceptual performance-art, if not just a kind of celebrity stunt. Like those 3 people in New York, or the unlamented DJ AM. They're never real "dj"s. Not that that's necessarily such a bad thing-- it may be healthier this way. I don't want a bunch of Paul Oakenfolds trouncing around turning North America into some ridiculous clubland like Europe where everybody over 12 thinks a week in Ibiza is worth killing for, as opposed to worth being killed rather than having to endure, as is the actual case. Still, these poseur spinners seem a little shady . . . are we talking about *electroclash* here?!
I DON'T EAT CEREALS!?!
Don't knock DJing, it's fun! But I must gripe, for I never get paid for these kinds of things. HMPH.
The girls are apparently well respected within the community?

Also, you can follow the link and comment there, too! Don't be shy!
It's not a cereal!
Chicago has produced a lot of female djs: DJ Heather, DJ Collette. They used to write them up in Nylon a lot. One of them is the dork who impromptu sings along with her sets-- she was a "Classically trained" {but practically every female dj claims to be "classically trained"!] vocalist who, as she explained on the internets, "left Classical music for the freedom of house." A certain special someone and I shared a hearty laugh over that, to which she added some stinging snark about the so-called *freedom* of house music.
No, I won't be horndogging over these sillygoose poseurs. To heck with 'em! Have you read Justine's guide to the Halloween horror festival?
It's not?
How did you come to know of these female Djs in Chicago? That's what I want to know.
But but this is an original song! And I think you'd like it too?
I haven't read anything on films for a long time. I need to get back in it?
